Puerto Rico, PR 3 arc-second MHW DEM

The Puerto Rico DEM integrates bathymetry and topography over the entire island of Puerto Rico, extending from 65° to 68° W and 17° to 19° N. The DEM has a 3 arc-second (~90 meter) cell size, and is referenced to a vertical datum of mean high water. It was built in May 2006 to support NOAA's Tsunami Program. NGDC has built two separate, higher-resolution DEMs that cover the coastal communities of Mayaguez and San Juan.
