The Akutan, Alaska 8/15 arc-second DEM covers Akutan Island, including the community of Akutan. Larger DEMs of the Akutan area were also developed. The DEMs were built in April 2009 to support the State of Alaska's efforts to improve the resiliency of its coastal communities to tsunamis.
