One of NGDC's geophysical data holdings is the MBBDB system which has been assembled as an online data base using existing Commercial and Government Off-The-Shelf (COTS and GOTS) software systems: ORACLE, ArcGIS, Generic Mapping Tools (GMT), MB-System, and Autochart.
