The data span from the mid-1990's to the present and were collected using several different sensors. The collection includes data from topographic and bathymetric lidar sensors. Data are available for shoreline strips to full county coverage and larger. The products have been delivered to the CSC in various formats, projections, datums, and units. Once received, the data are reviewed, checked for errors, and standardized in a single format, projection, and datum. The NOAA National Geophysical Data Center serves as the long-term archive of these data. These topographic/bathymetric lidar data are made available to the public and coastal management community for a wide variety of uses, such as morphologic change analyses, inundation mapping, habitat classification, and visualization. NOTE: These data are NOT to be used for navigation.19960101UnknownUnknownasNeeded-180-64.5671.39-14.38Geospatial PlatformngdaElevationNASA/GCMD Science KeywordsEARTH SCIENCE > Land Surface > TopographyEARTH SCIENCE > Land Surface > Topography > Terrain ElevationEARTH SCIENCE > Land Surface > Geomorphology > Coastal Landforms/ProcessesEARTH SCIENCE > Solid Earth > Geomorphic Landforms/Processes > Coastal LandformsEARTH SCIENCE > Oceans > Coastal Processes > Coastal ElevationEARTH SCIENCE > Oceans > Coastal Processes > ShorelineEARTH SCIENCE > Oceans > Bathymetry/Seafloor Topography > BathymetryEARTH SCIENCE > Oceans > Bathymetry/Seafloor Topography > Seafloor TopographyEARTH SCIENCE > Oceans > Bathymetry/Seafloor Topography > Water DepthNASA/GCMD Location KeywordsUnited States of AmericaLand SurfaceSea FloorU.S. shorelineU.S. Great Lakes shorelineU.S. Territories shorelineNoneUse Limitation: These data depict the elevations at the time of the survey and are only accurate for that time. Users should be aware that temporal changes may have occurred since this data set was collected and some parts of this data may no longer represent actual surface conditions. Users should not use this data for critical applications without a full awareness of its limitations.
