gov.noaa.ngdc.mgg.geophysical_models:WMM201020091201World Magnetic Model 2010The World Magnetic Model is the standard model used by the U.S. Department of Defense, the U.K. Ministry of Defence, the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) and the International Hydrographic Organization (IHO), for navigation, attitude and heading referencing systems using the geomagnetic field. It is also used widely in civilian navigation and heading systems. The model, associated software, and documentation are distributed by NGDC on behalf of NGA. The model is produced at 5-year intervals, with the current model expiring on December 31, 2014.2000010120141231UnknownasNeeded-18018090-90NASA/GCMD Science KeywordsEARTH SCIENCE > Solid Earth > Geomagnetism > Magnetic FieldEARTH SCIENCE > Solid Earth > Geomagnetism > Magnetic IntensityEARTH SCIENCE > Solid Earth > Geomagnetism > Magnetic DeclinationEARTH SCIENCE > Solid Earth > Geomagnetism > Magnetic InclinationEARTH SCIENCE > Solid Earth > Geomagnetism > Reference FieldsNASA/GCMD Location KeywordsGeographic Region > GlobalNoneUse Limitation: While every effort has been made to ensure that these data are accurate and reliable within the limits of the current state of the art, NOAA cannot assume liability for any damages caused by any errors or omissions in the data, nor as a result of the failure of the data to function on a particular system.
