This is Disc 1 of a two CD-ROM series. It presents Monthly Climatological Data, derived from NOAA's Advanced Very High Resolution Radiometer. The data were produced by the Satellite Research Laboratory; Office of Research and Applications; National Environmental Satellite, Data, and Information Service; National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.

Disc 2 of this set contains selected data from Disc 1, registered to NGDC's Global Change Data Base.
