This directory contains documentation for the data contained on this CD-ROM

The subdirectory structure is as follows:

1. AVHRRCLI: the climatological data from AVHRR that are the core data on this CD-ROM. The data are stored in the \DATA\AVHRRCLI directory. This documentation, provided by the authors of the data, is in their original Word Perfect file, plus translations of that file in other formats.

2. VECTOR: the vector data mapping shorelines, etc. contained in the \DATA\VECTOR directory of this CD-ROM. This documentation is in the form of .gif files, which can be viewed in (1) the enclosed GeoVu software, and (2) almost any Web browser.

AAREADME.1st files in each subdirectory provide further details of the contents of that directory.
