Maps of Magnetic Elements from the WMM 2010

Contour maps were created for each of the seven magnetic elements (D, I, H, X, Y, Z, and F) and for their secular variation (rate of change). These maps are available for download in pdf format by clicking on the browse images below or you can download a zip file containing all of the map pdfs (37 MB) . You can view and print the maps using the Adobe® Reader® (available for free from the Adobe website.) NOAA Disclaimer for external links. The maps are also available for download in the ESRI Shapefile format . A detailed description of the file format is given in the Esri Shapefile Technical Description .
