Description: preliminary description: 0-18cm gray at the base to grayish brown/brown to the top. unit starts with thick gray sand units overlayed by sandy ripples followed by laminated mud. sharp contact at the base; 18-38cm gray to light brownish gray. starts with a gray sandy unit overlayed by laminated sand, sandy ripples, followed by laminated mud. strong erosion surface at the base; 38-45cm gray to light brownish gray. starts with a thick gray sand unit overlayed by sandy ripples, followed by laminated mud. erosion surface at the base; 45-62cm gray to light brownish gray thin gray sandy layers, overlayed by laminated mud. bioturbation observed to the top. sharp basal contact; 62-70cm gray sand unit overlayed by yellowish brown laminated silt followed by grayish mud. strong erosive contact; 70-84cm very dark gray to dark gray/gray. starts with a thick sandy layer. organic materials are observed at 86cm. quick succession of yellowish brown and dark gray laminated mud.
