Comments: Bag 1: Breccia - reddish brown clasts (altered basalt) in a calcareous sandy matrix. Rocks many in size from 40 - 8 cm in length. All are angular in shape. Very thin and patch Mn- crust. 9 fragments - weight 52 lbs. Bag 2: Basaltic rocks - massive, nonvesicular, reddish brown - mud gray weathering color. Mn coating - 1 - 4 cm. Fragments are angular. Most of the samples are essentially aphyric, but there are local patches of pegmatoids containing plagioclase (?) and pyroxene (?). 5 fragments - 8 - 30 cm long. 50 lbs weight. Mn encrusted rock - 4 cm thick Mn coating a f.g. breccia yellowish brown - reddish brown. Mn is massive and locally mixed with calcareous (?) debris. 1 fragments - 40 cm long. 30 lbs in weight.
