Ese of Bayonaise Bank. Seven buckets of samples available. Each individually labeled 1,1,2,3,6,7, and 8.
|Comments:||Bags 1-4: lava fragments, some fine and green, some medium grained and brown, ~5- lbs each. 5: limestone (calcareous grit) (coral + Mollusk fragments, coated in Mn + set in Glob ooze, prob. Pliocene). 6: lime colored (Glob. Ooze - Early Pliocene). 7-9: conglomerate / hyaloclastic breccia with volcanic cobbles, some calcareous veins and cement. (Rounded conglomerate with volc pebbles set in calcareous silt clay). Contains some benthic and planktic foram. Living (?) sponges.|
