Comments: 15 bags ~ 300 to 350 lbs. This dredge consists of two main rock types (identified) and two small pieces of pumaceous rock. Rocks were sorted and bagged according to the rock type: 1) Altered basalt rounded, with Mn curst on outside, several samples have large vugs. Bags 4, 5, 6, 10, 11, 7, 9, 8. 2) Vesicular basalt with glomeroporphs of plagioclase and minor olivine. Some crystal clusters are as great as 2 cm diameter. Bags 1,2 2, 3, 12. Bags 14 and 14 are assorted sample from above. Bag 15 is a lab sample and include pumaceous specimens.
