Comments: 75 lbs: 1 Dredge Bag 1/2 full, 30% of dredge taken for hand samples. 23 samples, all but 1 with Fe-Mn crusts, most with thicknesses < 1 cm. Substrate ranges from altered vesicular basalt with plagioclase phenocrysts (pillow basalt fragments) to altered hyloclastic breccia and basalt conglomerate to highly burrowed mudstone. Crust thickness ranges from 2 1/2 cm to 1 mm. Depth Range: 3500 - 3200 m.
