1 :
Weathering/Metamorphism: weathering - fresh
Comments: Sample Type: Ol-plg phyric glass. Mineralogy: Plagioclase, olivine. Weathering: Fresh. Glass condition: >50% fresh glass. 1 bucket. 48-1 subsampled by DG. Probe glass taken. Samples placed in dredge 48 glass bag.Type 1 of this dredge. Both samples are completely glass. Glass is very plagioclase-phyric with some olivine phenocrysts. Some olivine phenocrysts enclosed by plagioclase phenocrysts. These glasses are likely rinds from rock samples represented by type 2 in this dredge.

Weathering/Metamorphism: weathering - fresh
Comments: Sample Type: Ol-plg phyric _Sheet flow basalt. Mineralogy: Plagioclase, olivine. Weathering: Fresh. Glass condition: >50% fresh glass. 1 bucket. 48-3 subsampled by DG. Probe glass taken from 48-3 and 48-4. Remainder of glass for KJ. There are ~10 unumbered samples of this type. Samples placed in a bucket.Type 2 of this dredge. Glass and rock are very plagioclase-phyric with some olivine phenocrysts. Some olivine phenocrysts enclosed by plagioclase phenocrysts.
