1 :
Weathering/Metamorphism: weathering - fresh
Comments: Sample Type: Pillow basalt_Aphyric basalt. Mineralogy: Plagioclase+olivine. Weathering: Fresh. Glass condition: >50% fresh glass. 3 sample bags; 7 buckets. Probe glass taken. Subsampled by DG. Remaining glass to KJ. Two buckets of unnumbered samples of this type, with glass still on samples, are also included. pillow basalt fragments with fresh glass rinds up to ~2 cm thick. minor plagioclase and olivine microphenocrysts in subequal proportions. Type 1 of this dredge.
