Comments: ~55 kg total lava; 3 subdivisions as follows: 1) Glassy vesicular sheet flows - some have nice ropey texture; some hydrothermal alteration & palagonitization; no obvious phenocrysts. 2) Non-glassy, massive lavas - vesicular but micro-sized <0.1 cm; hydrothermal staining; possible olivine phenocrysts (rare). 3) Vesicular pillows - large, irregularly-shaped vesicles; no apparent phenocrysts; hydrothermal staining; some glass patches. 6 pails total. NOTE: Glasses present are extremely fresh!
