Lithology/Mineralogy: igneous (extrusive/volcanic), basalt
Comments: ~45 kg of older (?), weathered lavas with glass; general types collected: 1) Non-vesicular sheet lavas - possibly olivine, maybe plagioclase tool; crumbly glass. 2) Vesicular pillow fragments - Mn coating on all the samples; irregular shaped vesicles ~0.2 cm up to ~1.0 cm diameter; glassy surfaces; no apparent phenocrysts. 3) Weathered lavas - irregular shaped vesicles, also pipe vesicles; glassy; no apparent phenocrysts. (A pumice piece too!) 4) Blue glass: plagioclase spherulites + dense glass piece.
