GEOPHYSICS OF NORTH AMERICA ARCHIVE SEISMICITY DATA This directory contains the regionalized DNAG seismicity archive files. The archive files are ASCII. The entire data set was regionalized into 33 regions, each with a limit of 3000 events. These are the same regions as those used for the display data. The events are sorted chronologically within each region. The boundaries and number of events in each region are: Minimum Minimum Maximum Maximum Longitude Latitude Longitude Latitude Number 1 260.4 13.6 265.4 34.6 3023 2 244.4 32.0 250.8 37.8 3016 3 228.4 32.0 238.2 43.6 2996 4 260.4 0.0 276.0 13.6 3004 5 170.0 51.6 199.2 90.0 3004 6 170.0 0.0 228.4 51.6 2982 7 244.4 37.8 250.8 47.6 2985 8 241.4 34.2 243.4 36.4 2980 9 228.4 0.0 260.4 32.0 2942 10 265.4 13.6 268.0 16.2 2949 11 208.0 61.6 210.8 65.2 2985 12 199.2 51.6 208.0 60.0 2945 13 208.0 51.6 218.8 61.6 2903 14 238.2 32.0 241.4 36.0 2917 15 243.4 32.0 244.4 33.8 2769 16 238.2 36.0 239.6 51.6 2752 17 228.4 43.6 238.2 51.6 2708 18 241.0 36.0 241.4 37.6 2644 19 241.4 32.0 243.4 34.2 2583 20 276.0 0.0 350.0 90.0 2367 21 218.8 51.6 276.0 90.0 2255 22 239.6 36.0 241.0 51.6 2247 23 268.0 13.6 276.0 51.6 2230 24 210.8 61.6 218.8 72.3 2122 25 243.4 33.8 244.4 51.6 1836 26 199.2 60.0 208.0 90.0 1786 27 241.4 36.4 243.4 51.6 1268 28 241.0 37.6 241.4 51.6 1263 29 265.4 16.2 268.0 51.6 775 30 208.0 65.2 210.8 90.0 621 31 250.8 32.0 260.4 51.6 339 32 244.4 47.6 250.8 51.6 114 33 260.4 34.6 265.4 51.6 64 ARCHIVE FILES: The regionalized archive files called EQARC.NUM.
