The NCEDC is a long-term archive and distribution center for seismological and geodetic data for Northern and Central California. The NCEDC is partially supported by funding from the USGS component of NEHRP (National Earthquake Hazards Reduction Program). The NCEDC archives and distributes several types of geophysical data:
