The following organization provides Earthquake Research information.

Center for Earthquake Research and Information

The Center for Earthquake Research and Information (CERI) provides information in both electronic and hard copy format about the New Madrid seismic zone and earthquake hazard mitigation.

Data are available from the Central U.S. Seismic Network (CUSSN), as well as the disbanded Memphis Area and Southern Appalachian Regional Seismic Networks.

CERI also publishes a Weekly Earthquake Summary of central U.S., U.S., and world-wide earthquakes and maintains an Earth Science Branch Library and speakers bureau.

Hard copy information and the Weekly Earthquake Summary are available free on request, and also through the world-wide web.

The center is open Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm (CST).
