TriNet is a five-year collaborative project to create a better, more effective real-time earthquake information system for Southern California. TriNet will incorporate new technologies to provide vital information within minutes of an earthquake. The goal is to mitigate the impact of future large earthquakes in Southern California. TriNet is a cooperative project between the U.S. Geological Survey, California Institute of Technology, and the California Division of Mines and Geology.

TriNet products include an earthquake catalog, rapid event parameters, ShakeMap, ground motion database, and frequency-dependent ground motion maps.
