Most of the regulatory responsibilities and program activities for which the Environmental Protection Agency, EPA, has jurisdiction do not come under the category of natural hazards. An exception is radon. The Radon Division of the EPA has developed publications on radon facts, radon reduction in homes, measurement protocols, reference manuals, and survey results.

Radon-specific Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) publications are available online, or can be obatined directly from the Government Printing Office.

For additional information call or write the State Radon Contact for your area or call the National Radon Information Line at: 1-800-SOS-RADON [1 (800) 767-7236].
