The Instituto Costarricense de Electricidad has wide experience in the assessment of natural hazards in Costa Rica. This experience is aided by the Institute's relationship with the Comision Nacional de Emergencias and the Organization of the American States. Research reports are available on Earthquake and volcano hazards in Middle America.

There are three conditions for provision of research reports: 1. cover the cost of photocopies and mail, 2. respect the credits of the publication, 3. engage in a mutual sharing of research reports.

Hard copy is available. Contact Dr. Guillermo Alvarado.
