View of the swimming pool at the Triton Hotel Sri Lanka at 09:36 local time on 26 Dec 2004. The hotel is right on the beach (to the upper-left of the photo). A small wave had rolled over the swimming pool at about 09:30 bringing a lot of sand with it (height above normal sea level about 2m), but doing no damage. The clock in the camera was not accurately set, so the absolute times of all these photos have been estimated by shifting to a few points when I noted the time. The relative times will be very accurate. Image Credit: Chris Chapman.
