Sidewalks buckled in compression. Fissures opened, measuring 18 to 24 inches wide at the top with a depth of 4 to 5 feet. In the 1994 earthquake, there was minor ground cracking and offsets over limited portions of this site. The cracks totaled about 2 to 4 inches in width in the north-south direction.
