Consistency Checker

The Consistency Checker finds unique fragments of xml within record set metadata collections. A fragments content determines it's uniqueness. Some fragments may appear to be identical, but slight changes in the content (such as extra whitespace, or spelling inconsistencies) will cause a fragment to be unique. Commonly repeating ISO 19115 metadata objects include OnlineResource's (Connections), ResponsibleParty's (People) and Citations. The Consistency Checker presents unique metadata fragments in the table below for each of these object types, and provides a count for the number of times the fragment appears. Click on the 'Connections', 'People', or 'Citations' table tab to view unique fragments. Click once on the field title to execute alphabetical or numeric sorting.
