October 1986 San Salvador, El Salvador Images
At least 1,000 people killed, 10,000 injured, 200,000 homeless and severe damage in
the San Salvador area. About 50 fatalities were the result of landslides in the epicentral
area. Some damage at Tegucigalpa, Honduras. Felt strongly in parts of Guatemala and
Honduras.
