| EK60 Water Column Sonar Data Collected During HB0706 |
| Bottom Trawl Survey Protocol Development (HB0706, EK60). Cruise objectives include:
1) Investigate performance characteristics of new research bottom trawl; 2) Develop
standard operating procedures for the NEFSC Bottom Trawl Survey; 3) Test operation
and develop protocols for the use of the fish processing system; 4) Identify and address
issues prior to conducting calibration activities with the NOAA FRV ALBATROSS IV in
September 2007; and, 5) to test manufacturer?s modifications made to the ship?s hydrographic
winches. |
