Collection includes presentation materials and outputs from operational space environment
models produced by the NOAA Space Weather Prediction Center (SWPC) and other related
model datasets. Included are; 1) regional space environment specifications of the
atmospheric total electon content (TEC) for the continental United States (CONUS),
2) global specifications of ionospheric D-region (radio-wave) absorption and 3) interplanetary
solar-wind specifications for predicting the propagation and arrival times of geoeffective
coronal mass ejections (CME). Also included is a 30-year space environment climatogy
produced by the NOAA National Centers for Environmental Information (formerly NGDC). |
