Meeting Location
The 2013 Meeting of Curators of Marine and Lacustrine Geological Samples will be held Tuesday, June 11 through Thursday, June 13 at the U.S. Geological Survey in Woods Hole, MA, collocated/on the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution's Quissett Campus at 384 Woods Hole Road, Woods Hole, MA 02543.

Arriving in New England
Both Boston Logan International Airport (http://www.massport.com/logan-airport/Pages/Default.aspx) and T.F. Green Airport in Providence, RI (http://www.pvdairport.com/) service Southeastern New England, and are pretty much the same distance to Woods Hole.

Bus
Peter Pan Bus Lines (http://peterpanbus.com/) runs from both airports and can take you to the Falmouth Bus Depot. Direct lines from Logan to Falmouth are available, and lines from T.F. Green Airport with a connection at South Station in Boston are also available.

Lodging
A block of 16 rooms is reserved at the Falmouth Inn on the Square for June 10 through June 14 under the group name 2013 Curator's Meeting. These rooms are available at U.S. Government per diem rate of $115 per night. The deadline for making reservations is Saturday May 11th. After that date, any remaining rooms will be released back to the hotel. If you are thinking of taking the bus, the Inn on the Square is also only a 3 minute walk from the Falmouth Bus Depot.
Reservations can be made by calling 1-800-676-0000. The rate of $115 is per room, per night and subject to state/occupancy taxes, currently totaling 9.7%. This tax is subject to change. There is a $15.00 per person charge for more than 2 adults in a guest room.

All guests must guarantee reservations with a credit card. If cancellation is made 72 or more hours prior to arrival there is no penalty. All guests must pay all charges prior to departure.
Each guest is responsible for guarantee of their reservation by credit card payment in the amount of one night's room rate and taxes at the time of making a reservation. This guaranteed payment is only refundable if cancellation is made 72 or more hours prior to arrival. For reservations cancelled less than 72 hours in advance, a cancellation fee equal to the first night's deposit will be charged and the reservation will be cancelled.
