Globoturborotalita tenella (Parker, 1958)
The relations of this rare species with the physical environment (Fig. 30) nearly mirror those observed in G. rubescens. The species may occur under a slightly broader range of sea surface temperatures and in a narrower range of seasonal variation in salinity but these differences are hardly significant in the data. As for G. rubescens the broad tolerances of this rare species suggest a limiting factor which is not part of the physical environment described by the analysed parameters (see G. rubescens and discussion section).
