Rock is criss-crossed by white veins of chrisolite. 107-651A-56R-1, Piece 2
contains small pebbles of garnet-bearing rock. All measured microstructures
are related to the section plane which has been chosen perpendicular to the

107-651A-58R-1, Piece 1 is foliated granodiorite. The remainder of the core
is criss-crossed by white veins of chrysolite. All measured microstructures
are related to the section plane which has been chosen perpendicular to S1
dip. Interval 107-651A-58R-4, 98 to 102 cm, brackets a fault plane parallel
to the section plane. Dip is 50 degrees, slickensides pitch is 60 degrees.
Interval 107-651A-58R-4, 0-15 cm brackets a fault plane dipping 65 degrees,
slickensides pitch is 70 degrees.
