MMS OCS PERMIT 77-25, BEAUFORT SEA


ThIS set of 2 CD's contain scanned images of velocity plots.  The plots are part 
of the available data being released to the public from Outer Continental Shelf 
Permit 75-25, Contracts No. 14-08-0001-0001-17648, 14-12-0004-60105, 14-35-0002-
40253, 1435-02-96-CT-40285, and Purchase Order 1435-02-96-PO-25220, for multi-channel 
seismic reflection data from the Beaufort Sea, Alaska, as described Minerals 
Management Service's Data Announcement.  

A copy of the Announcement is included on Disc 1 of the set in a PDF file and is 
viewable with Adobe Acrobat Viewer v3 and higher.  See the Announcement for a
map of the data location and more detailed description of the data available.  

The velocity image files are in a compressed TIF format.  The data was scanned
at a resolution of 200 dpi.  The lowest and highest shotpoints of each line on 
the CD are listed in the file names.

A text file of stacking velocities is also included on disc 1 of the set.
