Note 1.) If you have a World Wide Web browser, you may want to set it on the
  ==>    aareadme.htm file in this directory.  That file leads you through
         the CD-ROM, including a tour of the data.  Note that on the 
         editor's computer, Microsoft Internet Explorer appears to handle
         this "plastic website" differently than Netscape Navigator. Both 
         have differing attractive features, as well as disadvantages..
                
Note 2.) You may wish to explore (and use) NGDC's GeoVu software, which
         resides in the \software\geovu directory on this CD-ROM.  If so,
         check the geovu.txt file in this directory for guidance to more
         information on GeoVu.

valuable in interdisciplinary applications of the AVHRR Climatologies.
