This is the aareadme.1st file for the directory \document\ncillary\tbase

This directory contains documentation for the TerrainBase digital 
elevation model.

The main documentation is a hardcopy book that accompanies the CD-ROM,
which is distributed by NOAA/NGDC (same address as for the distributors
of this Global AVHRR-Derived Climatologies CD-ROM set).

This is an abbreviated set of documentation, limited to what is possible
in ASCII format.
