This is the aareadme.1st file for the directory: \software\geovu\pc

This directory contains the GeoVu utility for Intel platforms (IBM-compatible
personal computers) running Windows 3.x or Windows95.

To install GeoVu:

1) To install GeoVu use Microsoft setup program "setup.exe".
   Select file under program manager, select run and
   type location of path for geovu setup program.
   (ex. "e:\software\geovu\pc\setup). Follow instructions on screen.
   When installation is complete a icon should appear with 
   "Run GeoVu"
   
2) From the directory on the cdrom (e:\software\geovu\pc) copy 

   gut_gvi1.men
   gut_gvi2.men
   avhrrcli.lst

   into the geovu installation directory (c:\geovu) created 
   in the above step. The menu files copied in this step to the GeoVu
   installation directory are read only. To correct this, run the 
   command "attrib -r *.men" in the GeoVu installation directory. 
   To run GeoVu just double click on the "Run GeoVu" icon.
