This is the aareadme.1st file for the directory: \software\geovu\unix_sgi

This version works on Silicon Graphics workstations.

Read the aareadme.2nd file for installation instructions.

The geovutar.z file should be renamed geovu.tar.Z when copied to
the GeoVu working directory on your workstation.

The following files should be copied to the GeoVu software working
directory (e.g. ~/geovu)

gut_gvi1.men
gut_gvi2.men
avhrrcli.lst

Next, change to the GeoVu software working directory (e.g. ~/geovu) and
execute the following command:

chmod 777 *.men
