The geovutar.z file should be renamed geovu.tar.Z when copied to the GeoVu working directory on your workstation. The xkeysym.db file may be of interest to a Sun system manager. It suggests possible GeoVu settings for the .XKeysymDB file.. The GEOVUTAR.Z file should be renamed to Geovu.tar.Z when copied to a UNIX workstation. The following files should be copied to the GeoVu software working directory (e.g. ~/geovu) gut_gvi1.men gut_gvi2.men avhrrcli.lst Next, change to the GeoVu software working directory (e.g. ~/geovu) and execute the following command: chmod 777 *.men
