Comments: 1 basalt sample MnO crust + several pieces coquina w/basalt frags. 3 groups. Group 1:heavily weathered ol-pl-phyric basalt, olivine completely altered to iddingsite, secondary calcite prisms in vugs, abundant basaltic lithic inclusions + glassy rind Group 2: coarse, loosely cemented coral-limestone-basalt conglomerate. Group 3: brown mud containing radiating prisms of Fe/Mn oxide. Shell/coral hash present.
