Comments: 50 - 75 lb of manganese encrusted rocks. No glass, mn- coated pillow frags (?). 10 Rocks, approx. 1000 LBS. 1 boulder + 9 frags. All mn- coated; some frags resemble pillows (ie. Radial cracks, radial alteration bands); all rocks extensively surface altered - not easy to distinguish rock type other than extruded basalts. (search for forams). small amount of soft material (supposedly sediments) scraped off a few rocks by Isabella Premoli-Silva. 2 bgs: #1 boulder, #2 9 fragments.
