Comments: 300 lbs: 3 Dredge Bags 1/2 - 1/3 full with altered palagonite tuff, hyloclastic breccias, and pillow basalts, 1 large slab, 100 x 40 x 15 cm, altered palagonite tuff and hyloclastic breccia, some calcareos patches and at least two patchy Mn-crust layers reaching more than 1 cm thickness. Mn crust ranged form stains < 1 mm to good Mn-curst > 4 cm; median 2-5 mm. Dredge Bag 1: assorted altered palagonite tuffs and hyloclastic breccias cemented with mn-curst and/or calcite. Bags 2+3: altered to highly altered, at one time olivine and plagioclse-microphyric vesicular pillow fragments. Depth Range: 2500 - 2750 m.
