1 :    IGSN IEUHM007X
Lithology/Mineralogy: igneous (extrusive/volcanic), basalt
Weathering/Metamorphism: weathering - fresh
Comments: Sample Type: Sheet flow basalt. Mineralogy: Plagioclase. Weathering: Fresh. Glass condition: >50% fresh glass. 3 buckets. All three samples were subsampled for DG and probe glass taken. Remainder of glass to KJ. Samples placed in bucket.Fresh glassy sheet flows with very minor amounts of plagioclase phenocrysts in the glass. Type 1 of this dredge.
2 :    IGSN IEUHM007Y
Lithology/Mineralogy: igneous (extrusive/volcanic), basalt
Comments: Sample Type: Sheet flow basalt. Mineralogy: Plagioclase. Weathering: Light to moderate. Glass condition: Minor glass. 3 buckets. 43-4 thru 43-6 all had probe glass taken and glass taken for KJ. KN also subsampled 43-4 and 43-5. Rock samples were placed in a bucket.Plag-phyric sheet flow basalts. These samples appear to be older than type 1 with significant evidence of hydrothermal alteration. Type 2 of this dredge.
