Weathering/Metamorphism: weathering - fresh
Comments: Sample Type: Aphyric basalt. Mineralogy: Very sparse plagioclase. Weathering: Fresh to lightly altered.. Glass condition: >50% fresh glass. 3 buckets. KJ and DG have samples of 47-1 thru 47-6 and bulk glass. Probe glass taken from all six samples. KN subsampled 47-3.Type 1 of this dredge. Fresh to lightly altered, glassy, aphyric pillow basalts . Some with squeeze out features.
