             PYX NEEDLES,USUALLY PARALLEL TO THE PLAG 010
             DIRECTION WITH LENGTH TO WIDTH RATIOS OF 10 OR
             20:1, THE INTERGROWN PLAG MICROLITES TYPICALLY
             FOLLOW THE BENDS AND TWISTS OF THE PYX SHEAFS
             AND TUFTS-ARRANGED ROUGHLY PARALLEL WITH THE PYX
             NEEDLES ALTERNATING WITH THEM AS INTEGRAL PARTS
             OF THE VARIOLITES;
             PYX                  NEEDLES,SHEAFS,TUFTS

             OPAQUE MINERALS
             MAY BE SECONDARY,UBIQUITOUS,VERY TINY, RATHER
             UNIFORMLY SCATTERED EXCEPT WHERE CONCENTRATED
