Marine Geophysical Data Archives
NOAA collects and uses marine geophysical data for a variety of mapping and marine resource assessment requirements. These cruise-based data along with data collected by other government, private, and academic institutions are archived at NCEI for long-term stewardship and to provide public access to these data. The current archive holdings for water column sonar, multibeam bathymetry, trackline and National Ocean Service (NOS) hydrographic data are provided in the tables below.
