Instrument Information in ISO 19115-2 is held in the MI_Instrument object:
MI_Instrument

which can be referenced by the MI_AcquisitionInformation, MI_Platform, MI_Objective, and MI_Event objects.

Band Information

Band information is held in the MD_Band (19115) and MI_Band (19115-2) objects. These are part of the MD_CoverageDescription object which provides content information. The MI_Band object inherits elements from many abstract classes:
